Mexican Style Dinner(by Patio)

Although it represents a valiant effort, Patio's Mexican Style Dinner fails to deliver the alimentary nuances that constitute a memorable Mexican style meal. Two tamales and a beef enchilada comprise the main portion of this dinner. The tomales and the enchilada are meaty but they lack the spiciness and zest common to their professionally prepared brothers. After heating, the beefy trio reside in a slightly oily "gravy" of chili sauce and imitation cheddar cheese. The Mexican style rice has some spiciness but like the main entree items, it is not brought to its full potential. Overall, the appearance and smell of the cooked dinner is unspectacular but the meal is marginally satisfying. On a final but curious note, I should mention that the Mexican style beans are unlike any I have tasted before. In this area Patio has succeeded in imparting upon these legumes a characteristic taste but also an alarming potency. After two spoonfuls I found myself crying, "No mas! No mas!"

Southwestern Vegetable Quesadilla(by El Monterey)

If you're partial to fine Mexican fare then park your shopping cart(or basket) in front of the El Monterey section of the frozen dinner aisle and load up on this product!! Within the attractive packaging you'll discover a quesadilla delightfully rich in flavor. The flour tortilla is packed with corn, tomatoes, black beans, onions, and jalepeno peppers. Smothering these ingredients are copious amounts of Monterey jack and cheddar cheeses. Together they combine to form a delicious product which is appealing in appearance and odor. Unless you have an aversion to cheese, you won't regret this truly appetizing entree. For those of you in a hurry, it has a gratifyingly short microwave preparation time: 2.5 minutes(on high setting). Simply put, El Monterey's Southwestern Vegetable Quesadilla is all that, less the bag of chips.

Chicken Mesquite(by Tyson)

Tyson's Chicken Mesquite dinner is a savory arrangement of 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts with rib meat and barbecue sauce, a corn and pea medley, and potatoes au gratin. The chicken is lean and well prepared. Its richness and succulence are augmented by smoke flavoring. The potatoes au gratin are creamy and flavorous. Living up to its name, the corn and pea medley is indeed a wholesome collection of peas and corn which are steeped in a zesty juice.
